Last week, President Obama nominated Solicitor General Elena Kagan to the US Supreme Court. When he did so, he proved yet again that he is focused on appointing judges who will bring liberal activism to the bench for decades to come.

Although Kagan has never served as a judge and has no traditional judicial record, each day brings new information which tells us that she should not receive a lifetime appointment to the US Supreme Court.

She opposes the current law banning open homosexuality in the armed forces
On abortion, we know that she has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) and the National Organization for Women (NOW)
On the traditional definition of marriage, we know that she has been endorsed by the radical pro-gay marriage "Human Rights Campaign"
Perhaps most disturbingly, in recent Supreme Court cases she has argued that the government could ban certain forms of political speech after "a categorical balancing of the value of the speech against its societal costs." Of course it's liberals like Kagan and Obama who want to decide what speech meets their standards.

Senators need to hear opposition from conservative, pro-family Americans.

Let your senators know that you are concerned about her record. Let them know that conservative, pro-family Americans want judges that will respect the Constitution, not try to re-write it to suit their own liberal political ends.
