So, what kind of impact will Obama's budget "freeze" actually have on the budget?  Since, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, the following video says quite a bit...

Since the State of the Union speech, (or really since the Scott Brown win in Massachusetts), Barack Obama has been working to polish his "fiscal accountability" credentials.

He told Congress that he wanted to institute a freeze on all "discretionary" domestic spending, which is another way of saying "everything except Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, defense, interest payments, stimulus spending, bailouts and anything we want to call an 'emergency'".  This means that the "freeze" is projected to apply to about $450 billion (or 13%) of a $3.5 trillion dollar budget.

This is essentially like putting a smiley face on a death certificate.  Or rather a "fiscal death certificate", considering his new budget projects the biggest deficit in American history and a national debt of about $20 trillion in the next decade.

WHAT ON EARTH IS WORTH 1.6TRILLION DOLLARS?  Nothing I want or need!  I will bet that when my grandchildren have their own grandkids they'll be talkin' about how good ol' Obama spent their tax money (as though there will be no further need for taxes after our supreme one reWRITES our Constitution!).  If the world's people continue in their self destructive attitudes, perhaps the debt will be owed our Creator!  That's the whole point, though!  IT WORKED JUST FINE WHEN PEOPLE UNDERSTOOD THAT BEING TREATED WITH RESPECT WAS AN EARNED PRIVILEGE!  YOU GOT IT BY BEHAVING RESPECTABLY!  wow WHAT A CONCEPT, HUH! TELL ME AGAIN WHAT IS SO HONORABLE ABOUT OBAMA?  LOOK AT EVERYTHING HE'S DOING FOR OUR GOOD!  WE GET TO PAY FOR KILLING HELPLESS BABIES, THE ELDERLY, THE INFIRM, ANY LIFE THE GOVERNMENT DEEMS INVIABLE!  YOU THINK I AM OVERREACTING?  HA MY AUDACITY IN DECLARING MY INTERPRETATIONS MAY EARN ME AN EARLIER LIFE TRANSITION...BUT I NO LONGER SCARE LIKE I USED TO AND I FEEL THAT IF I DO NOT SPEAK UP ON MY CHILDREN'S BEHALF, AND FOR THE SAKE OF MY GRANDKIDS I MAY VERY WELL BE ASKED BY SOMEBODY WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAT OUR FEARLESS LEADER, WHY I FAILED THEM!  SO, MR.  read more »
