Is Barack Obama drafting an executive order that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens?

Fox News is reporting that a group of Republican senators have asked President Obama to clarify reports that he is drafting a plan to issue blanket amnesty for millions of people who are in the U.S. illegally. The plan would reportedly be unilateral in nature -- circumventing Congress entirely as the administration struggles to gain support on Capitol Hill for what the administration calls "comprehensive immigration reform" -- and be issued in the form of an executive order.

In a letter to the president, says Fox News, Senators Chuck Grassley (Iowa), Orrin Hatch (Utah), David Vitter (Louisiana), Jim Bunning (Kentucky), Saxby Chambliss (Georgia), Johnny Isakson (Georgia), James Inhofe (Oklahoma), and Thad Cochran (Mississippi) have urged the president to "abandon" what they describe as a plan to "unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens"...

I think that we have to come

I think that we have to come to some sort of solution for the problem of illegal immigration into the United States of America.I am especially concerned with the Mexican population because they are our closet neighbors outside of Canada. The Mexican border can be an entry point also for others passing through from other countries. I think if we allowed simple legal entry for work or visits(with background checks of course) and all these people would be finger printed and documented then we would have less confusion and  less criminal activity because we would have more manpower at the border to control what really needs to be controlled. Criminal activity, drugs, terosim, etc.  I just don't think not allowing immigration into America is the answer. Here are some points that people should take into consideration.

1) Texas, California, and New Mexico were once property of Mexico.

2) There are millions of illegals here in the United States of America as I am writing this comment.

3) There are millions of children born in the United States to illegal immigrants and where do you think that leaves them.

4) I propose that we give the opportunity to those illegals who have been here at least 3 years, and not been convicted of any federal offense, violent crimes, drug crimes here or in there country.

These people of course would then be REGISTERED  WITH THE GOVERNMENT, PAY TAXES(wich would help our government, and economy tremendously),BE ALLOWED TO  HAVE DRIVERS LISCENSE WHICH WOULD MEAN THE SAME MANDATED AUTO INSURANCE COVERAGE WOULD THEN APPLY TO THEM, BE GOVERNED BY THE SAME LAWS AS ANY OF US WHO WERE BORN INTO CITIZENSHIP, OR WHO NOW HAVE CITIZENSHIP IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

I think that many are missing the point that these people are here to stay and keeping them illegal is only making things more difficult for everyone. If we were to offer legal entry and documentation to people who most times are not coming here soely because they just don't want to live in there country anymore. Most of these people earn no more than $40.00 a week in there country. They have no opportunity in life, and are only thinking of there families. There are some who would just be happy with work permits that last 3 years at a time to allow them opportunity to get on there feet and be able to have some sort of life which includes the basic necessities. Then there are those who have families here, wives, husbands, children, who need to be able to live with-out fear of separation from their families. There are also those who have  parents, siblings, who just would like to have the opportunity to come for a visit.

WE NEED TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK INSIDE OURSELVES AS HUMAN BEINGS, CHRISTIANS FOR THOSE WHO ARE, AND AS A NATION AND I QUOTE (ONE NATION UNDER GOD). DO WE REALLY WANT TO CONTINUE TO BLOCK OUR BORDER FROM THOSE WHO ARE HARMLESS. I PROPOSE WE PUT MORE ATTENTION INTO THE REAL PROBLEM, AND THAT IS THE MOVEMENT OF DRUGS BY THE DRUG CARTELS, AND LEAVE THE INNOCENT ALONE.

IN CLOSING I AM ALL FOR GIVING AMNESTY TO THOSE WHO ARE HERE IN THE UNITED STATES, AND HAVE NO CRIMINAL RECORD OF VIOLENT CRIMES, DRUG CRIMES, OR CHILD MOLESTATION. THAT WE GIVE THEM LEGAL STATUS TO BE HERE. FINGER PRINT THEM AND PUT THEM INTO A DATABASE WHICH WILL GIVE THE UNITED STATES ACCESS TO THEM IN A MOMENTS NOTICE IF THE NEED BE IF THEY WERE TO COMMIT A CRIME AT A LATER DATE. HAVE THEM PAY TAXES(WHICH SOME ALREADY ARE TRYING TO DO, BUT HAVE TO DO IT ILLEGALLY ALSO BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO STAY HIDDEN FROM THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS A MUCH BETTER SOLUTION THAN THE WAY IT IS NOW BECAUSE IT IS JUST NOT WORKING.

TAKE TIME TO THINK AND THEN SEND LETTERS TO CONGRESS AND OUR PRESIDENT LETTING HIM KNOW THAT WE ARE ALL IMMIGRANTS, AND WE TOO AT ONE TIME COULD HAVE BEEN DEEMED ILLEGAL.
